Ireland

Project duration: since 2025

The Irish Department of Housing, Local Government, and Heritage commissioned the IHM to contribute its expertise in World Heritage to advise on the nomination process for the “Royal Sites of Ireland,” a site on Ireland’s UNESCO Tentative List.

Consulting services include joint site visits, the specification of the site’s Outstanding Universal Value, the identification of its value-bearing attributes, and the preparation of the Preliminary Assessment Dossier (PAD) for submission to UNESCO, along with all further documents. The process also includes extensive stakeholder workshops, policy advice, and participation in relevant scientific conferences.
